2025 Theme

The theme of UDAY 2025 is Unmet Needs – The Path Forward for Urticaria highlighting the unmet needs of people living with urticaria and the vital role of clinical research in driving progress. Despite available treatments, many patients continue to struggle with persistent symptoms especially chronic itch and unpredictable flare-ups that severely impact their daily lives, sleep, and mental well-being. This year’s focuses on the gaps in current therapies and emphasizes the importance of advancing research to develop more effective, comprehensive treatment options. Clinical research – including trials – offers a vital opportunity to bridge these gaps, but participation remains low due to mistrust, lack of information, and access barriers.
